Matija is an accordionist, pianist, composer, producer, and educator based in New York.

He studied the accordion with Nikolai Medojevich and the piano with Alexander Bozovic. Matija holds a Bachelors of Science in Music Performance from Montenegro Music University and a Masters in Music Education from UDG Podgorica.

An instructor of the piano, accordion, and voice since 2018, Matija has taught students of all ages and levels, including students with special needs. Matija is also a band instructor, working with kids ages 12-18, teaching them many of the skills needed to be in a band.

Matija has been performing live since 2015 in multiple bands on the accordion, keyboards, and vocals across Europe and the United States. Matija has worked as a producer and recording engineer on many famous pop songs with over a million streams.
