New York native Daniel is a lutenist, guitarist, arranger, composer, and ensemble player.

A multi-instrumentalist, Daniel performs on an array of plucked string instruments, including the Renaissance lute, Renaissance bandora, nineteenth-century guitar, modern guitar, and extended electric guitars. Known primarily as a chamber and consort player, he has concertized extensively in New York and throughout the United States in a variety of settings; performing regularly with lutenist Matthew Weinman, soprano Erin Heisel, The Red Door Chamber Players, The Samadi-Keene Piano & Guitar Duo, and Mazzard Effect. In addition, Daniel has performed with Long Island Baroque Ensemble, The Golden Williams Duo, The Bacheler Consort, and Impetus Dance Collaborative. Recent performances include concerts at The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, Opera America, Shapeshifter Lab, Adelphi University Performing Arts Center, The Vail-Leavitt Music Hall, Nassau Community College, Christ Church of Oyster Bay, Spectrum NYC, The Custer Observatory, and The Staller Center for the Arts. An avid performer of new music, Daniel has collaborated with composers all over the globe, premiering many new works on guitar.

Daniel has been on the music faculty at SUNY Nassau Community College since 2013; directing the NCC Guitar Ensemble and teaching applied guitar, beginning guitar, and music theory. He has also served on the faculty at Adelphi University where he directed the Adelphi Guitar Ensemble, taught applied guitar, and basic guitar.

Daniel began studying music at the age of nine. He studied with Jerry Willard, William Zito, Stephen Leonard, Dr. Linda Sinanian, Arthur Haas, Jonathan Goodman, and Dr. Susan Sobolewski. Daniel attended Stony Brook University, Adelphi University, and Nassau Community College.
