Carlos studied piano with Dr. Susan Cobb, and with Dr. Steven Widenhofer; He holds a B.A in music from Millikin University.
Carlos caters his lessons to the individual needs of his students. Lessons should help you develop skills, but most importantly it should be fun, and not feel like another school assignment. “If you heard it, we’ll play it!”
Carlos has performed at some of the most iconic venues in NYC including: Arline’s Grocery, Pianos, DROM, Shrine World Music Venue, Rockwood Music Hall, The Bowery Electric, The Bitter End, and The Knitting Factory. Since moving to New York, Carlos has performed for an array of artists, including Hip-Hop, Gospel, Soul, R&B, Conscious Pop, and Rock.
Carlos strives to have a positive impact on others through the power of music. This mindset has enabled him to travel and perform across the U.S. at venues including the legendary Whiskey A GO-GO in Los Angeles, the Carver Theatre in New Orleans, and a Midwest tour.
Carlos is currently producing pop records with his writing partner Lescribe, at “3 Red Shoes” label, teaching piano and production, and working as a session musician.
