Bianca is an internationally acclaimed vocalist, trumpeter, guitarist, and bandleader with Indian-American Roots. She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA.

Bianca is influenced by the music of Charlie Parker and Miles Davis - along with blues, soul, and New Orleans contemporary/traditional music - other artistic influences include Ellis Marsalis, Betty Carter, Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan, Clifford Brown, Etta Jones, Dinah Washington, Nicholas Payton, Jimmy Heath, Mahalia Jackson, and many more.

Deeply inspired and shaped by the music tradition rooted in the African-American experience, Bianca grew up in New Orleans - the unique and distinctive cultural gem of America which nurtured her musical journey from birth.

After studying voice at Eleanor Mcmain Secondary School in New Orleans (as a part of the Grammy-winning gospel choir) she revisited her familial roots as she moved to India in 2011 to study at Calcutta School of Music (Calcutta, India) and Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music (Chennai, India).

Bianca has over 8 years of teaching experience. When working with students, Bianca helps new learners develop a complete understanding of music - including performance, theory, and music business for those who are interested in being professional musicians. She also specializes in working with early childhood learners and prepares them with essential skills and concepts.
